長かったGWも終わってしまいましたね。
皆さんはどんなGWを過ごされましたか？？
我が家は、子ども達の予定があったり、仕事があったりと
バタバタしたGW。その仕上げ（？）で、最後の週末にイベント２連チャンが
ありました。一応「仕事」なのですが、家族で楽しめるイベントとなり
みんな大満足な週末となりました。
5/7(土)は「ピザ窯でモミガライト」。
友人の御宅に「ピザ窯」があり、是非「モミガライト」でピザを焼かせて
もらえないか、、、とお願いしたところ、折角なら「ピザパーティ」しようと
言っていただいたので家族でお邪魔しました。
モミガライトの性質の一つ「安定燃焼」がピザ窯に大変適している、ということで、
ピザレストランでの使用が増えてきているのですが、実は「ピザ窯」でモミガライトが
燃えているのをまだ見たことがない私。
友人宅に「ピザ窯」があると聞き、モミガライト持参&家族総出で押し掛けてしまいました。
そんなお願いを快くきいてくださった友人にほんと感謝です。
今回は「火入れ」から一緒にやらせてもらいました。
ピザを焼く１時間ほど前から「火入れ」といって窯の中を温めます。
薪とモミガライトを半分ずつ入れ、ひたすら燃やしました。
始めはすすが出て窯の中が黒ずむのですが、温度が上がってくるとすすが燃え始め
窯の中が白くなってきます。そうしたら「焼き頃」だそうです。
生地を伸ばし、好きな具材を乗せて、自分のオリジナルピザを作る。
これが結構楽しい♪ 子ども達も喜々として自分のピザを作っていました。
具材を乗せ終ったらピザ窯に投入。
火の近くはすぐに焦げてしまうので少しずつ回しながら焼くのですが、
これがまた楽しい作業♪ ちょっとだけピザ職人になった気分です。
窯の中は超熱々なので、数分もかからずに焼き上がり！！
焼きたてのピザはとっても美味しく、いくらでも食べられます。
作るの楽しい、焼くのも楽しい、食べるのも楽しい。。。。。
ほんと、エンドレスですf(^_^)
気づいたらお腹パンパン！！ 食べ過ぎちゃいました。
ピザを焼き始めてある程度時間が経つと、窯の温度が下がってきて
「パン」を焼くのに適温となるそうです。
ただ今回「モミガライト」を使って焼いたせいか、窯の温度が全然下がらず、
「まだピザ温度だ（温度が下がっていない）」と友人も驚いていました。
モミガライトの一番の特徴である「高熱量」を実感した一コマでした。
薪は、木の種類や太さの違い、そして乾き具合によって燃焼時間にバラつきがあるため、
窯の温度管理が難しいのですが、「モミガライト」は太さも水分量も一定なので安定して
燃焼します。この性質がピザレストランでは大変重宝されるそうです。
安定して燃焼するので窯を気にする時間が少なくて済むそうです。
「高熱量」と「安定燃焼」。ピザ窯にぴったりなモミガライトがこれからもっと
普及してくれるといいな。。。

モミガライトの普及を目指している熊本に住む者です。
モミガライトは火が安定していてピザ窯で使いやすいというので、なるほどぉ～！となったのですが、一点気になる事があります！
使用した際に出るモミガライト灰の処理はどのようにしてらっしゃるのでしょうか？

モミガライトの灰ですが、田んぼ・畑に撒いたり、融雪剤に利用したりしています。また、花を栽培している方が「灰を土に混ぜると成長が違う」と、大量にもらっていってくれます。
